Clinical Presentation: Follow-up of testiculartrauma
Comment: Minimal trauma may reveal tumor and thus patients mustbe followed up
carefully by serum enzymes (AFP, BHCG) and by repeatCDFI or if US findings are
equivocal by MRI.
Description: The right testicle is enlarged with irregular contoursand displays
altered echogenicity. The Color Doppler study showsfocal areas of hypovascularity
corresponding to hematoma, edema orinfarction. Adjacent areas of relative
hypervascularisation arepresent in normal parenchyma. The left testicle isnormal.
