A 60-year-old woman with a history of neoplasm on the floor of the mouth had been diagnosed with rectal adenocarcinoma 6 months previously. While she was receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy for the rectal disease, an immobile, 2.5x3-cm nodule, soft on palpation, was detected in the occipital region of the scalp.
Fine needle aspiration (FNA) with a 22-gauge needle was performed.
